Really appreciate the authenticity and quality of this salon. My cut and the products they recommended actually made a difference in how my hair looks (when styled on my own). I love my new style and how easy it is to maintain. This is the first time in years that I haven't spent at least half the week with a ponytail! Can't wait for my next appointment!

I judge a hair salon by the quality of their stylists. One can typically make a good assessment of what type of a job they are going to do by how they maintain themselves. A hair stylist with janky hair probably means your hair will walk out in the same manner.

I'm really particular about my hair. REALLY. particular. When I found Elena here, I was beyond thrilled. Elena has since left - and when I look through the rest of the stylists to see who is left to choose from, you're sure to be sorely disappointed. Stylists with poorly fading 'colored' hair - horrendous roots, clearly box yellow and purple hair, with trashy, not trendy, haircuts.

The stylists aren't afraid to (loudly) air their dirty laundry in front of customers, either, which creates an extremely uncomfortable situation. I really don't want to hear you yelling about how your husband is an ass, or what sort of shambles your life is in. I'm here to relax and unwind - and quite frankly, don't give a damn about your personal life. But, every time I was in, I heard several stylists and assistants continue to either loudly discuss their personal lives or act in a passive aggressive manner towards people they didn't like.

The lack of professionalism in this salon is absurd. The quality of work is reflected in the remaining stylists - trash.

If you have dark hair, DO NOT get your hair colored here. They are not well trained or have enough experience to work with dark hair. I went there to get a subtle balayage; I was very excited with the cleaner products they offer. I ended up with brassy hair which looks terrible.
The salon and their products are nice, which is the only reason I am giving two stars. Elements should train their stylist much better to not make these terrible mistakes.

The experience provided by this establishment goes above and beyond all expectations. I came here about 1.5 years ago or so. I made some risky hair decisions and had a bad encounter with another hair salon. This left me with extremely short, damaged by perm, bleached and improperly colored hair. In the past year, under the guidance of wonderful Lucia, I have smooth, healthy, much longer hair with the perfect shade of blonde like I have always wanted! Thank you!!! Let me tell you why I love this place:

1. Hair stylists like Lucia, provide genuine advice and take the time to get to know your requirements, explain the options and the consequences.

2. Beautiful, quality results balanced and guided while keeping your hair healthy and reducing damage. They did a fantastic job with my hair!

3. The product is amazing. Every salon will try to sell you their stuff so I have stopped buying all together as I felt like the hair stylists just pushed whatever product the salon has a contract with. Here, I was never pushed to get anything I did not need. There were several times where I was given advice against getting something unnecessary. Yet the Surface line of products is amazing. Completely natural which has never worked for me before. Here I have purchased a variety of products for myself and now for gifts and I have not been disappointed with anything I ever bought with one exception. When the styling cream I purchased did not work out the way I wanted, I received a full refund even though I used it.

4. The owners and team! Thank you Irving and Lauren! The place has a wonderful atmosphere. You can see the owners and the staff all care about each other and their customers. It is an absolute pleasure to visit!

Seriously wish I had a proper before photo of my hair before Elena. My fried and faded mop has been transformed into a dimensional, healthy head of hair. So friendly and helpful, she walked me through all the treatments and what to do to maintain the color and overall health of my hair.

I highly recommend Elena and the natural products at Elements.

Warm and welcoming waiting area and staff. Amber is a sweet, friendly, and vibrant stylist who got the job done swiftly and perfectly; my semi-permanent root coverage was the perfect tone, the product used was organic, and the process was smooth and enjoyable. And...the head massage during the rinse/wash phase was by far the absolute best I've ever received by a stylist's assistant! Prices were reasonable. I look forward to my next visit.

Julie highlighted and cut my hair a few weeks ago. I can't say enough nice things about her and this salon. First off, I am happy that they use cleaner products than typical salons. Julie is so sweet and fabulous at her job. I absolutely love my hair color and cut!! I get tons of compliments! The ladies in this salon were very kind as well. Lindsey washed my hair and did an amazing job. Best hair massage I've ever had! Also the salon was very clean and kept everything safe during this pandemic. I will definitely be back!

Lauren was great I will definitely be back!
Background on me:
-- naturally straight long hair
-- I don't style my hair unless it's a major event. (Usually just air dry or pull into ponytail or bun)
-- I hate spending money on haircuts because I get the same easy haircut every time
-- I make my own "shampoos" but about once a week I use a shampoo with simple ingredients rated by EWG
-- I've been going to a beauty school for haircuts for 2 years and it has been, err, rough...

Why I'll go back to Elements:
-- Lauren knew exactly what I wanted and executed it without any problem
-- The shampoo ingredients are safer than other salons
-- It's pricier than I'd like, but felt worth the great cut and ability to get a full shampoo and blow dry without chemicals

Elena is incredible! I walked in with over processed and over bleached hair. She sat down and talked with me about what I wanted and was very honest about the condition of my hair. She gave me highlights, lowlights, protein conditioner and a cut. My hair is amazing!! I highly recommend her and Irving, the owner, plays the BEST music!! Thank you for a great experience!!
